Your Second Visit to Our Practice

On your report visit we explain what we found and how we may be able to help you.

Today Dr. Loniewski will explain the results of your examinations, offer choices for appropriate care, and begin your chiropractic care.  Here’s what you can expect:

  1. Report of findings:  You will receive a complete report of your examination findings.
  2. Treatment plan:  Dr. Loniewski will outline a treatment plan designed for your unique spinal problem and health complaint.
  3. Expectations:  Based on his clinical experience, the doctor will explain your prospects for recovery and what you can do to help speed the healing process.
  4. Financial issues:  So we can direct all of our attention to your recovery, the financial responsibility for your case will be discussed.
  5. Questions:  Make sure you fully understand the nature and severity of your condition and what our office will be doing to help you.  Ask questions!
  6.  Adjustments:  The doctor will use a carefully directed and controlled pressure to restore the moving bones of your spine to a more normal motion and position.  These procedures are called chiropractic adjustments.
  7. Adjunctive procedures:  If necessary, Dr. Loniewski may also recommend the application of ice, heat, muscle stimulation, therapeutic ultrasound or the use of other procedures to help reduce inflammation and make you more comfortable.
  8. Future visits:  Your second visit is complete.  Future visits will be of a more typical length, usually 15 minutes.

In certain situations, and in the professional judgment of Dr. Loniewski, we sometimes make exceptions. It just depends on your unique situation.

What can a chiropractor do for asthma?
Many people think of chiropractic as exclusively dealing with the spine. But I'm interested in the spine because it covers the nervous system. Problems in the spine can produce problems in the organs and tissues controlled by the affected nerves—including those to the lungs and bronchial tubes. How long does it take to form a bone spur?
Many who begin chiropractic care think their problem happened "last week when you bent over funny." But pictures of the spine tell a different story. Chiropractors know it can take your body years to deposit the calcium necessary to form a bone spur. It's your body's response to stress due to gravity or joint malfunction. And chiropractic care can help.
